What is Nadi dosha?
A calm, honest explanation of a commonly discussed concept.
Nadi is the eight-point factor in Guna Milan, the one given the highest weight. Each birth star belongs to one of three Nadi groups: Aadi, Madhya or Antya.
What Nadi dosha refers to
When both people share the same Nadi group, tradition refers to this as Nadi dosha and examines it more carefully, because Nadi carries the most points. When the Nadi groups differ, this factor scores full points.
Keeping it in perspective
It is important to be measured here. Nadi dosha is a traditional astrological consideration, and interpretations vary between astrologers and texts. Many traditions also describe conditions under which it is considered reduced or cancelled. It is one factor among several, not a verdict on a relationship.
GrahaRashi does not use fear-based language and does not sell remedies. If a report shows a shared Nadi, we simply note it and suggest discussing it with a knowledgeable astrologer if it matters to you.
