Griha Pravesh is the traditional house-warming — the auspicious first entry into a new home. A Griha Pravesh muhurat is a date (and time) chosen so that nakshatra, tithi and weekday all support settling into the house.

How is this different from a free almanac?

A general almanac shows the same Griha Pravesh dates to everyone. This is personalised: each candidate date is also checked against your birth star (Tara Bala) and Moon sign (Chandra Bala), so the dates are strong for you specifically.

Do I need my birth time?
